Replacement stylus for Audio-Technica AT3600L cartridge.

    Stylus Shape: Conical
    Stylus Dimension: 0.6 mil

To remove old stylus (needle), hold the cartridge in one hand, grasp the plastic stylus housing with thumb and forefinger, and pull away from the cartridge. The stylus assembly comes away at a slight angle, as indicated by the arrow.

To install replacement stylus, insert the new stylus assembly into the cartridge at a slight angle, so the hook at the end of the stylus fits into the slot in the cartridge body. The stylus assembly should click into place when fully seated on the cartridge. The stylus must be fully seated on the body for proper operation.

Audio-Technica has been perfecting the art of transducer technology since our first hand-crafted phono cartridge in 1962.

IS the ATN3600L Replacement Stylus proper for my AT-LP2D USB Stereo Turntable? Thanks in advance. Bob

    Yes it is.

On the Audio technica website, and nowhere to find an essential question : What is the arm weight we should apply on this head ?

You may contact Audio-Technica Europe for further assistance.

I have a discontinued AP-L50 turntable that goes with an ATN-3600L replacement stylus, my cuestiĆ³n is if there is an upgrade to such stylus that fits, with better specs.

No there is not. The replacement stylus is the ATN3600L.

Hi, i recently bought a Sony PS-LX350H used. On the dealer page it is said that it comes with an ATN 3600 LX (it has a plastic needle protector that you can flip up or down when not using it) in which it is said that its pretty much an ATN3600L but sony adds the X to convince you to buy it from them don't know if that's 100% true but sounds like it would be. I played a record and it sounded actually really nice, no crackles or pops. But i was wondering if i should buy this ATN3600L stylus replacement to have on hand when i'll need to replace my stylus, or if theres an upgrade anyone can recommend where all i'd have to do is replace it and not have to tweek anything else such as leveling or tracking just so i won't mess anything up. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Is there an upgrade for this stylus that is compatible with AT-LP60-USB?

Thank you for your inquiry. There is no upgrade stylus for the AT-LP60-USB.

Will the ATN 3600L replacement styli work on the AudioTechnica AT-PL 50?

Yes, the replacement stylus for the AT-PL50 turntable is the ATN3600L.

Hi, is the ATN3600L a moving magnet or moving coil type cartridge (using it with the AT-LP60BK turntable) Thanks!

The AT3600 is a moving magnet cartridge.

Wait, one of these answers claimed the 3600 had lower compliance (was more squishy in the suspension) than the 3600L. ???

Yes, the only difference is the "L" has a lower compliance (stiffer dampening) for a higher tracking force. The ATN3600L is used in LP60 models since it is automatic and a heavier tracking force is needed when tone arm comes down to not skate.

Hi WHAT is the stylus number for a AT-LP60-BT turntable? Thanks.

What is the difference between the ATN3600L and the ATN3600 stylus?

Thank you for your inquiry. The ATN3600 is lighter and has a lower compliance than the AT3600L
