I purchased this turntable and need some assistance. What do I need to get it to connect to the following audio receiver: ONKYO TX-NR609. Thank you!

    bdpope88

Thank you for your inquiry. You would not be able to connect via Bluetooth, but you can connect via the provided audio cable.

I have this player, and after 4 years it's bugged out on me. I think I need to take it to a repair shop to get checked out. Do you guys have repair shops in the Brooklyn or NY area that I can take it to that are authorized by you guys to see what's going on with it?

    Collin

You can send it in to our Service department where they will quickly get it back up and running! You can find all information here: www.audio-technica.com/service

Does the lid being open change the dimensions?

    Tony

Yes, the specified dimensions are with the dust cover closed.

    ATUS_Specialist3

Is there a way to adjust the speed? Ours has always played just a litte too fast.

Is it semi-automatic (manual start, auto return) or fully automatic (auto start and return) or switchable between the two?

    John Luka

The AT-LP60 / AT-LP60-USB is a Fully Automatic Stereo Turntable. However, it can be manually started by engaging the tonearm lift so that you can manually cue the tonearm over a record. The tonearm will automatically return to its rest position when the record is finished, whether one uses the start button or manually cues the tonearm. the drive motor is not spinning when i turn hit start. Any suggestions

    jim

The number one reason for this is an improper belt placement. To resolve this issue, please review the following: - http://blog.audio-technica.com/question-week-install-belt-lp60-lp60-usb-turntable/ If you have any further questions, please contact the Audio-Technica United States (ATUS) Audio Solutions Team at: audio-solutions@atus.com Thanks!

    Do I need additional speakers?

    Nick

There are no speakers, so yes you will need speakers in some form. The simplest way to get your turntable going is to connect it to a pair of powered (may also be referred to as "active") type speakers.

    ATUS_Specialist1

I purchased this for my daughter along with Alesis M1A320USB Nearfield Studio Monitors with USB Audio I/O. Do I need anything else to be able to use this product out of the box (i.e. -'an adapter of some kind between the speakers and the unit itself)? Also, will any speakers work? Looking to use this alone, not with a computer.

    Marianne

You do not need anything else. Use the dual RCA female to single 3.5mm stereo male adapter cable that is provided with the turntable to connect the turntable to the 3.5mm (1/8 in) Audio Input jack on the speakers. Make certain that the preamp selector switch located on the rear of the turntable is placed in the LINE position.

Is this the same Blue as the Discontinued ATH-M50xBL Professional Headphones - Blue?

    Nelly

No, they are two different shades of blue.
