Hi..Looking to replace the Galaxy Audio SM-BSSPT for our Executive Board Conference Room. Unfortunately the picture of the product (AT8666RSC) doesn't show the rear with the input. Does the AT8666RSC have the same type of input? I can send pics of the item to illustrate. Also, assuming it has the 'mute' feature? Thank you for your time.

    Mike

No, the AT8666RSC has a 5 pin XLR output for the audio as well as the contact closure. You may use the AT8666RSP which has a standard 3 pin XLR with a local mute switch. Please contact our Audio Solutions Department at (330) 686-2600 ext 5000 or at audio-solutions@atus.com for assistance with this.

Can the AT866RSC mount be used on a piano top? This is for my mother who plays for her church. She need it to work on the piano top and for vocal singing. Also can she use her microphone and her amp. Thanks so much.. Diane

Thank you for your inquiry. This is probably not the mount that you need. This has control features that you probably do not need. A better choice would be the AT8666 (no switch) or the AT8666RSP (switch). Please not both are for use with a gooseneck microphone that has an XLR connector at the end. Also, the AT8666RSP requires phantom power.
