Yes, you may use a standard XLR as a go between the AT2022 and the included XLR to TRS 3.5mm cable to keep a stereo signal.

Various things can be causing your issue. You will want to make certain you are plugging into a stereo MIC level input and not a balanced input or a LINE level input. Please contact our Audio Solutions Department at (330) 686-2600 ext 5000 or at audio-solutions@atus.com for assistance with this.

Thank you for your inquiry. Please note that even though this microphone has a 3 pin XLR output connecter it is not wired the same as a standard XLR. Also note that this microphone has two elements aligned in an X/Y configuration. In a Mid side set up you use a cardioid center mic along with a figure of eight mic with two outputs (one inverted). Also, when summing two outputs, a proper summing configuration is necessary.

The signal is summed inside the microphone and gives you a single XLR output. You may use any standard XLR cable to connect the standard 3 pin XLR from the bottom of the microphone to an XLR Microphone input on your interface.
