    The ES925H/FM3 is a modular microphone system designed for professional sound reinforcement and other commercial sound applications. It includes a hypercardioid condenser microphone element, gooseneck and a 3-pin flush-mount power module.

    Each component is interchangeable with other ES modular microphone components, allowing you to mix and match power module types (XLR, FM3, FM5, DS5), gooseneck lengths (4.85”, 9.08”, 12.08”, 15.08”, 18.08”, 21.08”), and microphone polar patterns (MicroLine®, hypercardioid, cardioid, omnidirectional).

    The ES925H/FM3 microphone’s low-profile element provides a uniform hypercardioid polar pattern with a 100° acceptance angle. It comes with a foam windscreen to protect against plosives. The microphone element attaches to the small-diameter gooseneck, which offers highly flexible positioning while maintaining a well-contoured appearance. The 3-pin flush-mount power module is equipped with a capacitive touch switch that enables local muting of the microphone. The power module mounts unobtrusively in tabletops and comes with isolators that provide mechanical dampening of the mounting surface. Both the power module and the microphone element housing feature a highly visible, two-state RGB LED status indicator. UniGuard® innovations offer unsurpassed immunity from radio frequency interference.

    Architect’s and Engineer’s Specifications
    The modular microphone system shall be comprised of three parts: a microphone capsule, a small-diameter gooseneck available in six different lengths, and a 3-pin flush-mount power module. The microphone system shall operate from an external 22V to 52V DC phantom power source.

    The microphone shall be a fixed-charge condenser designed for permanent installation or portable applications. It shall have a hypercardioid polar pattern with a uniform 100° angle of acceptance and a frequency response of 30 Hz to 20,000 Hz. Its capsule housing shall be equipped a two-state RGB LED status indicator. The microphone shall come with a foam windscreen to protect against plosives, and optional interchangeable capsules shall be available to provide additional polar patterns. It shall be capable of handling sound input levels up to 140 dB with a dynamic range of 112 dB. Nominal open-circuit output voltage shall be 10.0 mV at 1 V, 1 Pascal. Output shall be low-impedance balanced (180 ohms). It shall offer outstanding rejection of radio frequency interference (RFI).

    The 3-pin flush-mount power module shall have an input connector with set screw to mount the gooseneck, and an XLRM-type output connector at the base for direct connection to an XLRF-type connector. The power module shall feature a capacitive-type touch-sensitive switch that toggles between on/mute, and a two-state RGB LED indicator that displays mute status. It shall also have two dials to set the “mic on” and “mic off” colors for the LED indicators on the power module and microphone capsule.

    A pair of isolators shall be included to provide mechanical dampening of the mounting surface.

    The microphone system shall have a maximum width of 38.0 mm (1.50") and a maximum depth of 48.0 mm (1.89"). Depending on the gooseneck used, the microphone system shall be available in the following heights/weights: 207.6 mm (8.17")/110 g (3.9 oz); 315.0 mm (12.40")/134 g (4.7 oz); 391.2 mm (15.40")/139 g (4.9 oz); 467.4 mm (18.40")/144 g (5.1 oz); 543.6 mm (21.40")/149 g (5.3 oz); 619.8 mm (24.40")/154 g (5.4 oz).

    Finish of microphone capsule, gooseneck and power module shall be low-reflectance black.
