    very fine product from AT

Very fine product, the PRO 61 microphone. beautiful powerful sound and a very good flat caracteristic. nice finish, no cons from AT. user is a classical trained cellist.

    Excellent Microphone!

I was searching for a good mic to mic some guitar cabinets and after a few instrument mics with unsatisfactory results I began to look at some vocal mics. This mic caught my attention because of the Hypercardoid pattern and the relatively low cost so after debating between a few different mics I bought the Audio-Technica Pro 61. This thing performed way beyond my expectations and blew away the much more expensive instrument mic I had been using. The sweet spot was easy to locate and needed very little EQ if any. It makes the guitar sit well in the mix as it responds to every nuance. The bump in the frequency curve around 4k is perfect for leveling out the tone of my 4x12 cabinet. Excellent Microphone!

HI, my son is after a microphone for vocal recording. He would want to use with a PC running Windows 10 - is this microphone compatible? Does this microphone have USB connection, I could not find any reference to the input/output - but I don't know much about microphones so may have missed this. Finally do you ship to New Zealand? Thanks

Hi, I'm trying to verify whether the P615 mic is the same mic as the Pro 61. I went to my dealer to purchase a Pro 61, but he wants to sell me a P615. He says the P615 is the exact same mic, only renamed. Is this true? Thank you, Brad

Thank you for your inquiry. They are not the same microphone. They have different polar patterns.
