    The ES925C/XLR is a modular microphone system designed for professional sound reinforcement and other commercial sound applications. It includes a cardioid condenser microphone element, gooseneck and an XLR power module.

    Each component is interchangeable with other ES modular microphone components, allowing you to mix and match power module types (XLR, FM3, FM5, DS5), gooseneck lengths (4.85”, 9.08”, 12.08”, 15.08”, 18.08”, 21.08”), and microphone polar patterns (MicroLine®, hypercardioid, cardioid, omnidirectional).

    The ES925C/XLR microphone’s low-profile element provides a uniform cardioid polar pattern with a 120° acceptance angle. The element housing features a highly visible, single-state RGB LED status indicator that functions seamlessly with ATUC series products and the AT8699R desk stand. A foam windscreen is included to protect against plosives. The microphone element attaches to the small-diameter gooseneck, which offers highly flexible positioning while maintaining a well-contoured appearance. The XLR power module plugs into any standard XLRF-type connector or mounts to 5/8"-27 stands using the included quick-mount stand adapter. UniGuard® innovations offer unsurpassed immunity from radio frequency interference.

    Architect’s and Engineer’s Specifications
    The modular microphone system shall be comprised of three parts: a microphone capsule, a small-diameter gooseneck available in six different lengths, and an XLR power module. The microphone system shall operate from an external 11V to 52V DC phantom power source.

    The microphone shall be a fixed-charge condenser designed for permanent installation or portable applications. It shall have a cardioid polar pattern with a uniform 120° angle of acceptance and a frequency response of 30 Hz to 20,000 Hz. Its capsule housing shall be equipped a single-state RGB LED status indicator. The microphone shall come with a foam windscreen to protect against plosives, and optional interchangeable capsules shall be available to provide additional polar patterns. It shall be capable of handling sound input levels up to 140 dB with a dynamic range of 112 dB. Nominal open-circuit output voltage shall be 10.0 mV at 1 V, 1 Pascal. Output shall be low-impedance balanced (130 ohms). It shall offer outstanding rejection of radio frequency interference (RFI).

    The XLR power module shall have an input connector with set screw to mount the gooseneck, and an XLRM-type output connector at the base for direct connection to a mating XLRF-type panel jack or cable connector. A universal isolation-type shock mount suitable for above or below surface installation shall be supplied for mounting the power module in a solid surface. It shall be possible to firmly secure the power module in the mount. The mount shall include appropriate hardware for installation. For alternative mounting and portable applications, the power module shall be supplied with a stand clamp to permit attaching the power module directly to a standard 5/8"-27 or 3/8"-16 thread.

    The microphone system shall have a maximum diameter of 20.2 mm (0.80"). Depending on the gooseneck used, the microphone system shall be available in the following heights/weights: 197.4 mm (7.77")/102.0 g (3.6 oz); 304.8 mm (12.00")/126.0 g (4.5 oz); 381.0 mm (15.00")/131.0 g (4.6 oz); 457.2 mm (18.00")/136.0 g (4.8 oz); 533.4 mm (21.00")/141.0 g (5.0 oz); 609.6 mm (24.00")/146.0 g (5.2 oz).

    Finish of microphone capsule, gooseneck and power module shall be low-reflectance black.
