    Audio-Technica's ATR7000 Series Wireless Systems are compact, portable, versatile systems designed to provide reliable performance, easy setup and clear, natural sound quality. Available in handheld, headworn, guitar, and lavalier configurations, the ATR7000 Series Wireless Systems are single-channel, fixed-frequency systems available in three VHF frequencies (T2: 169.505 MHz, T3: 170.245 MHz, T8: 171.905).

    Each 7000 Series Wireless System includes the ATW-R7000 receiver and either a body-pack transmitter or handheld microphone/ transmitter. The ATW-R7000 is a non-diversity, single-channel receiver with a quarter-wave telescoping antenna for extended operating range of up to 300 feet. The ATW-R7000 also offers volume control along with Power, RF and AF Peak indicator lights. It can be placed horizontally or vertically with included vertical mount.

    Both the handheld and bodypack transmitters offer an easily accessible on/off/standby switch; the bodypack also features an external microphone volume control and a convenient 3.5 mm input.

    Will this product work with both passive and active electric basses? Is there low end dropout when connected to a bass? Thanks.


    Thank you for your inquiry. I do not believe I would use this on bass guitar. The system specs at 80 Hz on the low side. An E string on a bass is around 41 Hz.


    Is it possible to simply by a replacement microphone?

    I am looking for a microphone to be compatible with my Bluetooth speaker system. Will this product perform this task?
