Audio-Technica’s innovative application of pure digital Ultra Wideband (UWB) technology, the award-winning SpectraPulse® UWB Wireless Microphone System bypasses the increasingly congested RF bottleneck to deliver clear, intelligible audio without the performance and set-up issues associated with conventional wireless systems. Designed for conferences, courtrooms, corporate events and more, SpectraPulse® delivers license-free plug-and-play simplicity, rock-solid performance, and impenetrable security. Operating in the sparsely populated 6-10 GHz range, SpectraPulse® systems are completely out of the range of TV signals and white space devices. With no companding or compression circuits to diminish signal quality, and no need for frequency coordination, SpectraPulse offers extremely straightforward setup/operation along with all-digital clarity and versatility. Secure Operating with an average transmit power that is below the ambient RF noise floor and with pulses only 2 nanoseconds in duration, SpectraPulse offers levels of security that have never before been commercially available in wireless microphones. The inherently secure system offers an optional 128-bit AES encryption package for customers who want to use SpectraPulse® systems in sensitive environments. Simple & quick to install For the contractor or system integrator, setting up a SpectraPulse® system is simple and quick. Install the Digital Receiver Module (drm141) and connect it to the equipment rack via a standard shielded Cat-5 cable. In the rack, install up to two Audio Control Interface (aci707) units for a total of 14 separate microphone channels. For expanded coverage area and use in adjacent rooms, install an rcu104 receiver coordinator unit in the rack and use up to four drm141 Digital Receiver Modules. Place up to 14 Microphone Transmitter Units out in the environment as required and set their individual addresses. You may use mtu101 Boundary Microphone Transmitters, and/or mtu201 XLR Desk Stand Transmitters combined with Audio-Technica Engineered Sound® gooseneck microphones, and/or mtu301 Body-pack Transmitters paired with lavalier or headworn microphones (mtu301 transmitters can be used with systems utilizing 2 or more drm141 Digital Receiver Modules). Turn the system on, and SpectraPulse is ready to go. There is no frequency scanning or channel planning required.   • Inherent security—UWB data is transmitted in extremely short-duration pulses sent in a timed sequence over a wide frequency spectrum. To decode the pulses, the Digital Receiver Module must know exactly when, where and how to listen. This makes SpectraPulse® inherently secure.
