For us here at A-T, January is a month of showcasing some of our latest and greatest products at trade shows across the country. Between the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) and the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Show, the A-T team always anticipates an exciting beginning to the year! In addition to our new pro audio equipment debuting at the 2019 NAMM Show, we received several awards, including a NAMM TEC Award for the ATH-M60x professional headphones. Our friends at the Lennon Bus hosted daily giveaways, and we had many artists and industry professionals stop by the booth. Keep reading for a recap of our time at the 2019 NAMM Show.

The ATH-M60x Headphones Win a TEC Award

Our team was honored to be nominated for several Technical Excellence & Creativity (TEC) Awards for NAMM 2019, with the ATH-M60x taking home one of those awards! The ATH-M60x professional monitor headphones received a TEC Award in the Headphone/Earpiece Technology category. Utilizing the same 45 mm drivers found in the critically acclaimed ATH-M50x headphones, the ATH-M60x on-ear headphones offer comfort and powerful audio for long studio sessions. The ATH-M60x also received a 2019 Readers’ Choice Award from ProSoundWeb & Live Sound International in the Headphones & Earphones category.

New ATM350a Microphone Systems with UniMount® Components

Two new ATM350a Microphone Systems with UniMount® Components made their debut at the 2019 NAMM Show, offering musicians crisp and clear audio reproduction and sturdy yet discrete mounting solutions for a variety of instruments. The new ATM350GL mic system is specifically engineered to provide consistent placement on acoustic guitars while the ATM350s excels on accordions. The ATM350a is now available in eight systems to provide easy mounting and amplification for any instrument. The cardioid condenser microphone in these packages is designed to handle extreme SPLs while still providing crisp, clear, and well-balanced response. Featuring a cardioid polar pattern, the ATM350a reduces side and rear pickup protecting against unwanted feedback and is suited for a variety of instruments, including woodwinds, strings, brass, percussion, drums, and piano. The ATM350a microphone systems received a 2019 Readers’ Choice Award from ProSoundWeb & Live Sound International in the Microphones – Condenser Type category.

5000 & 3000 Series Wireless Systems On Display

Musicians were excited to see our wireless microphone systems on display in the booth. The 4^th generation 3000 Series Wireless Systems offer a variety of highly-requested features that contribute to easy setup and versatile operation. The 3^rd generation 5000 Series Wireless Systems have been designed for use in a variety of professional settings, including tours, and in stadiums or houses of worship, as well as other demanding audio environments. Additionally, A-T’s 5000 Series Wireless received a Gold Star Product Award from FOH Magazine for Most Versatile New Wireless.

ATH-M50xBT: Wireless ATH-M50x Headphones

Delivering an exhilarating wireless listening experience, the ATH-M50xBT wireless over-ear headphones were also on display at NAMM 2019. The ATH-M50xBT offers the same sonic signature that has made the ATH-M50x a leader in audio industry standards, with the added convenience of on-the-go wireless listening. Utilizing Bluetooth 5.0, these headphones deliver exceptional clarity and articulate, extended bass with smooth and wide frequency response.

Content Creation, Drumming, and Vocal Microphone Bundles

Providing microphone and headphone solutions for all aspects of content creation, A-T showcased four of our unique bundles geared toward podcasters, YouTubers, videographers and beyond, including:

• The AT2005USBPK bundle, which includes an AT2005USB Cardioid Dynamic USB/XLR Microphone with ATH-M20x headphones, and custom boom arm.
• The AT2020PK bundle, which includes an AT2020 Cardioid Condenser Microphone, ATH-M20x headphones, and custom boom arm.
• The AT2020USB+PK bundle, which includes an AT2020USB+ Cardioid Condenser USB Microphone, ATH-M20x headphones, and custom boom arm.
• The AT2035PK bundle, which includes an AT2035 Cardioid Condenser Microphone, ATH-M20x headphones, custom boom arm, and shock mount.

A-T also displayed several new mic bundles at NAMM 2019, which were created to take the guesswork out of choosing the right microphone for your audio needs. Providing a cost-effective solution, our four new drum mic bundles can be used at home, in the studio, or for live performances. The PRO-DRUM4 and PRO-DRUM7 bundles are ideal starter sets, while the ATM-DRUM4 and ATM-DRUM7 bundles are geared toward professional musicians and touring drummers. A-T has even developed a vocal mic bundle, the ATM510PK which offers vocalists three ATM510 Cardioid Dynamic Handheld Microphones.
