The New Year brings with it new beginnings and a ton of new tech! The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is taking over Las Vegas this week, with the latest and greatest in the world of tech on display. We have some major product announcements lined up, including the debut of new headphones, phono cartridges and a turntable! However, today we’re going to focus on two of our biggest CES 2017 debuts: our newest wireless headphones and the AT-LP3 turntable.

Expanding Our Line of Wireless Headphones

Here at A-T we are Always Listening, and the demand for high-performance headphones with Bluetooth® technology is sky high! That’s why we are so excited to expand our lineup of wireless headphones with the introduction of five new models.

ATH-AR3BTath-ar3bt

The ATH-AR3BT is a high-performance on-ear model that provides richly detailed sound in a compact design that’s perfect for life on the go. The model features a new dynamic driver, which provides listeners with impactful bass and extended frequency response. The ATH-AR3BT will be available in white and black finishes, sure to match any style.

ATH-CKS550BT

The newest addition to our Solid Bass lineup is the ATH-CKS550BT in-ear headphones. ATH-CKS550BTThis model features an updated design offering improved sound and wireless functionality along with more comfortable ergonomics. Control buttons are located at the front of the neckband, providing easier access and a more comfortable fit. These in-ear headphones also feature new Dual Magnetic-Field Drivers with Multiple-Transition Diaphragms, delivering powerful bass and clearer midrange and treble.

Introducing Pure Digital Drive TechnologyATH-DSR9BT and ATH-DSR7BT

The ATH-DSR9BT and ATH-DSR7BT are the first wireless headphones to employ A-T’s new Pure Digital Drive system. This new technology keeps the audio signal completely digital from the audio source to the headphones’ drivers, without the need for D/A conversion stages that typically degrade the sound quality. Traditionally, the digital signal goes through a series of steps that process and transform the wireless signal. This presents several opportunities for distortion in audio quality. Our Pure Digital Drive technology eliminates the opportunities for disruption and distortion that occur in the conversion stages, providing users with a high-quality listening experience. All five of our new wireless headphones featuring Bluetooth technology will be available in spring 2017!

Unveiling Our Newest Turntable

photo-jan-05-9-29-19-amOver the past few years vinyl has experienced a major resurgence, leading listeners young and old to rediscover the medium. This year we’re proud to expand our line of turntables with the addition of the AT-LP3 Fully Automatic Belt-Drive Stereo Turntable. This new model combines phenomenal sound quality with advanced features not found on most automatic turntables. Enjoying your albums has never been easier, simply press “Start” and the AT-LP3 plays the record. After the album has finished, the tonearm returns to its armrest automatically. The AT-LP3 turntable’s built-in phono preamp allows it to be used with the widest range of home audio systems, powered speakers and other components. Users can switch the preamp mode for use with either moving magnet or moving coil cartridges, a feature rarely found on turntables with a built-in phono preamp. The AT-LP3 will be available in black and white and will be released in spring 2017. We have many more exciting announcements in store for CES 2017; stay tuned for a full recap! If you’re attending CES, make sure to visit the A-T team at Booth 20918. We will also be hosting demonstrations of our AT-ART1000 Direct Power Stereo Moving Coil Cartridge at The Venetian in Suite 29-236. *The Bluetooth® word mark and logos are owned by Bluetooth SIG, Inc. and any use of such marks by Audio-Technica Corporation is under license.
