INFOCOMM — Leading microphone manufacturer Audio-Technica has announced the launch of its new website, www.audio-technica.com. The site is designed to provide visitors with an intuitive and interactive resource for the latest information on Audio-Technica’s comprehensive range of microphones, headphones and audio accessory products. The announcement was made by Jeff Simcox, Executive Director of Marketing at Audio-Technica, and reflects A-T’s ongoing commitment to supply end-users and dealers with the most accurate, up-to-the-minute reports on A-T products, current events/artist news, specifications, literature, FAQs and U.S. suggested retail pricing. The new site serves customers in the Americas and Europe, with content tailored for four regions: the United States/Canada, Latin America, Continental Europe and the United Kingdom. The site is offered in four languages: English, Spanish, French and German, with Portuguese soon to be added. In addition, the website has also been streamlined with improved navigation and dropdowns that take visitors to their destination with fewer clicks. An extensive upgrade to the product section of the site now features all A-T microphones (hard-wired and wireless), headphones and accessories, including a windscreen/mount cross-reference. The product section allows visitors access to a new, extremely fast and comprehensive product search function: complete specs and curves on all A-T products; online product registration; product photos with 300 dpi downloadable files; searchable product literature in PDF format including spec sheets, manuals, brochures, etc; PDFs of the latest Audio-Technica advertisements; as well as U.S. MSRP listings. One of the site’s most popular and frequently visited areas offers instructions on how to select, use and get the best performance out of any wireless microphone system. Furthermore, there are two interactive online applications for wireless users: "Selecting A-T Frequencies" (for A-T wireless systems) permits users to enter the zip/postal code or city name where they will be using the wireless system, and receive information on which frequencies are compatible with broadcast television stations operating in that area. The second interactive section, "Checking Frequency Compatibility," invites users to enter up to 30 frequencies in order to check for possible intermodulation interference problems when multiple systems are in use. Jeff Simcox commented, “Our new site is designed to give end-users and dealers a convenient source for the most current information on Audio-Technica products and activities. We’re making updates on a regular basis and will be announcing more enhancements as they come online.” Celebrating over 40 years of audio excellence worldwide, Audio-Technica is a leading innovator in transducer technology, renowned for the design and manufacture of microphones, wireless microphones, headphones, mixers, and electronics for the audio industry. —For more information on the complete range of Audio-Technica products, contact Karen Emerson, Audio-Technica U.S., Inc., 1221 Commerce Drive, Stow, OH 44224.
