Audio-Technica Updates Best-Selling Stylus and Introduces New Upgrade Path for Millions of Vinyl Enthusiasts

Audio-Technica, a leading innovator in transducer technology for over 60 years, announces the new ATN3600LC and ATN3600LE replacement styli with conical stylus shape and elliptical stylus shape, respectively.

The venerable ATN3600L has become one of the most popular styli in the world, trusted by countless music lovers for decades. The updated ATN3600LC and ATN3600LE feature a new modern design while retaining the ease-of-use, reliability, and sound quality that have made it the replacement stylus for so many turntables.

Both new styli upgrades feature a real diamond stylus tip and are perfect for beginner turntable enthusiasts and experts alike.

The ATN3600LC is a sleek, modern update of the ATN3600L. The new conical stylus will now be installed on all AT-LP60X series turntables and Sound Burger portable wireless turntables. 

The ATN3600LE with elliptical stylus shape now provides users with an instant upgrade path. Those using the conical stylus found on our bestselling AT-LP60X turntable series can now experience an elevated level of listening.

Both styli models will be backward compatible and may be used to upgrade and replace those on the legacy AT-LP60 series turntables as well as many other prior generation Audio-Technica turntables. Because of the ATN3600L’s industry-wide adoption, these new styli are also compatible with a host of other manufacturers’ turntables.
