Audio Solutions Question of the Week: How Do I Reset the Bluetooth on My AT-LP3XBT Turntable?

Question: How do I reset the Bluetooth on my AT-LP3XBT Turntable?

Answer: As a Bluetooth wireless turntable, the AT-LP3XBT provides the convenience of sending the audio wirelessly to your Bluetooth speaker or headphones so you don’t have to deal with wires and cables. However, it is not uncommon for Bluetooth devices across the market to experience minor hiccups in their processing and connectivity. If you come across an issue with your new AT-LP3XBT not pairing to any devices, or if the turntable has stopped pairing with your devices, you can perform a reset procedure to help the Bluetooth technology function correctly. Below you will find instructions on how to reset the Bluetooth processing in the AT-LP3XBT turntable.

  1. Power off your Bluetooth audio device (speaker, headphone, sound bar, etc.). Turn any other devices that have previously been paired to the turntable off (power them down).
  2. Place the turntable and your Bluetooth device within 3 feet of each other.
  3. Without the turntable being in the pairing mode (the indicator light on the turntable should be solid red), press and hold down the Bluetooth button on the turntable for about 2 to 3 seconds. You will see the light begin to flash red and blue rapidly back and forth as it does when it goes into the pairing mode. After about 1 to 2 seconds of seeing this, briefly release the button (for at least 1 second) then press and hold the button down until you see the light blink just RED slowly – twice. Then the light will turn OFF. It may take up to a minute or so to see the light blink just RED twice.

  1. Press and hold the Bluetooth button for 2 to 3 seconds to put the turntable in pairing mode (RED and BLUE repeating).
  2. Power on your Bluetooth device and attempt to pair the turntable to it again.

If your turntable is still having trouble pairing with your devices, then there may be other devices (such as smartphones, tablets, other speakers, or even Wi-Fi routers) causing wireless interference within your environment.
