the first DANTE™ ETHERNET MICROPHONE
Audio-Technica's ATND971 Cardioid Condenser Boundary Network Microphone bridges the gap between audio and IT as the first wired microphone that transmits audio and control data together over Audinate's Dante™ network protocol. A simple Ethernet connection allows the Network Microphone to communicate across an existing network of Dante-enabled devices and, with the microphone's programmable user switch, control any of those devices at the push of a button.
- Digital Microphone Ethernet compatible with Dante™ – an innovation by Audio-Technica
- Connects directly to the network via an Ethernet cable - no need for costly audio cable or soldering.
- The integrated switch enables the microphone to communicate with - and control - other compatible devices in a Dante™network
- Local or remote control of the microphone gain, low cut filter and LED (red / green)
- Features UniGuard® RFI-shielding technology and UniSteep® low-cut filter.
- Network-powered (PoE IEEE802.3af)
- Scalable thanks to Dante's™ 512 audio bidirectional channels.
- Product made in Japan. 5 year guarantee.
“Easy to install, use and extend”
Dante™ technology has become the standard in the professional audio sector. A true plug-and-play solition, Dante™ uses standard internet protocols to distribute digital audio and control data with very low latency. The ATND971 exploits the advantages of Dante™ to provide a high-performance audio system, easy to set up, to use and to extend.
“Up to 512 bi-directional audio channels”
Ideally suited to boardrooms and meeting spaces, network microphones have simple Ethernet connectivity, are inexpensive, and have remarkable sound quality. The Dante™ system can support up to 512 channels of bidirectional audio; these network microphones offer a solution that can easily be extended.
“Local or remote control”
Powered straight from the network cable, the ATND971 also allows data to be transmitted in a peripheral Dante™ network. In fact its programmable switch allows to trigger the rotation / tilt of a video camera, to recall the lighting presets or to control anything else on the network.
INTERCHANGEABLE CAPSULEOptional interchangeable capsule (hyper or omni), to capture an angle of 100 to 360°, allowing for the microphone to be integrated into numerous applications.
powered by the network
The ATND971 surface microphone is powered directly from the network, via its PoE (Power Over Ethernet) port.
