The ATH-SR50BT headphones deliver incredibly pure audio quality while providing ultimate comfort with the use of soft memory foam earpads. Just like the earpads or headband on any pair of headphones, these earpads can degrade through storage and use over time and will need to be cleaned regularly and, eventually, replaced. For cleaning, we typically recommend using a clean, dry cloth to wipe off any perspiration or dirt on the material (page 16 of the owner’s manual). Should you decide to replace the earpads entirely, you may contact the spares team at your regional Audio-Technica office to purchase replacement pads. Below you will find instructions on how to replace the earpads on the ATH-SR50BT headphones:

1. Hold the earcup in one hand like this:

2. Using your other hand, grab the earpad and twist it inward toward the headband. For example, if replacing the right earpad, twist it to the left as shown below. For the left earpad, you will twist to the right.

3. Pull earpad straight off the earcup.

4.For installation, please follow these steps in reverse.
