Interview with Twitch Streamer LIRIK

What is your favorite part about streaming full-time?

I get to share my lifelong hobby of gaming to a global audience of like-minded individuals. There is nothing better than that. Being able to full-time stream is a privilege and something I can be very thankful to my community for.

How do you choose what games you play?

I usually go off of the feeling in the moment. If there isn't a new release I am very interested in to broadcast I usually end up sticking with my gut.

Are there any new games coming out this year that you are excited about?

Cyberpunk, The Last of Us 2, Ghost of Tsushima, Assassin's Creed: Odyssey. Just to name a few. Many indie games are coming out as well that end up just being completely unexpected gems that need to be played. The gaming future is very bright.

How would you describe your Twitch community?

My community likes to laugh, enjoy a good story, relax, and give to good causes. It consists of people from many walks of life with the same goal of wanting to share and be entertained.

If you could only pick one piece of audio equipment for streaming, what would it be and why?

My ATH-M50x headphones. These have been my headset of choice for the past 5 years. They sound great, look great, and are just so sleek.

What are some ways you grew your Twitch channel?

I was able to discover the greatness of survival games early on, like DayZ as well as the complexity and potential with battle royale games through Arma 3 Battle Royale by PLAYERUNKNOWN.

What’s the #1 tip you would give to new streamers?

Consistency. Being very consistent with your streams and being there for your audience to always see that LIVE icon will bring one a long way in the streaming world.

What is the most rewarding thing when it comes to streaming?

Being able to share my gaming experiences with so many people. It is why I got into streaming in the first place.
